Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Overview
This senior management role will focus on optimising gas servicing and maintenance operations at our client's Glasgow headquarters, before assisting in the rollout of new service depots across England. This is a important role in the future of the Service business and helping to scale the operations.

You’ll be approachable, collaborative and driven by results—with a sound understanding of gas and combustion systems. You must have knowledge of commercial gas installation and maintenance, from planning and coordinating works through to testing, commissioning, and ongoing servicing.

- Create and develop key client and supplier relationships.
- Design and implement scalable systems and processes to support future national expansion.
- Recruit, develop and manage high-performing engineering teams.
- Oversee service delivery, scheduling, logistics and client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, gas safety and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to align service operations with broader business goals.
- Manage budgets, KPIs and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a management role in field-based service environment.
- Commercial gas installation and maintenance knowledge.
- Good understanding of gas and combustion systems, including compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams through periods of change or growth.
- Experience implementing systems and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with digital tools and systems to support service operations.
- Strong client relationships in the FM sector across the UK.
