The Opportunity

A leading and growing manufacturing company based in Bridgwater is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) to join their experienced team on a permanent night shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of modern process, converting, and packaging equipment within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing faults across production lines (mechanical and some electrical)
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery
• Supporting engineering improvements and modifications

What We're Looking For

• Time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical bias)
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing or packaging environments
• Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on problem-solving ability
• Ideally some knowledge of pneumatics
• Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Salary & Benefits

• £43,000 £ 47,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Based in Bridgwater, this role is easily commutable from:
