Join our Power Transmission & Distribution team as a Site‑Based Senior Project Manager and play a key part in delivering complex, meaningful, and impactful projects in the South West of England. You will support sustainable energy infrastructure and help shape the future of power engineering.

• Plan, manage, and deliver a major substation project, ensuring successful execution and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare internal and external reports, liaise with stakeholders, and provide decision‑making information.
• Lead a zero‑harm culture, keep up‑to‑date with legislation, and manage risk/opportunity reviews.
• Develop, implement and update resource allocation plans (OBS) and procurements to meet deadlines.
• Build and develop high‑performing, diverse teams, and support their training through mentoring.
• Ensure handover, certification and cost control, advocating consistency of digital data for data‑driven
  
  UBL decisions.
• Advise on contracts, performance evaluation and commercial aspects to keep projects within budget.

• Experience delivering high‑quality substation / National Grid projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage, mentor, and empower a multi‑skilled team.
• Commercial acumen to control costs and maintain budgets.
• Understanding of standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.
• Recognition or relevant engineering qualification.
