As a Quality Engineer, you'll support the safe and compliant delivery of KierBAM works at Hinkley Point C by ensuring that all construction activities meet NNB's nuclear quality requirements, relevant British/International Standards, and KierBAM quality processes.
Your Day To Day Will Include- Implement and oversee adherence to the Project Quality Plan, specifications, ITPs, RAMS, and nuclear safety standards, including inspections and testing requirements
- Manage QA documentation, product compliance, and traceability records, ensuring readiness for progressive assurance and project handover
- Lead non-conformance management, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and communicate lessons learned to clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate with package managers, subcontractors, and design teams to maintain robust quality standards, delivering briefings and training as required
- Utilise digital QA platforms for reporting, audits, and continuous improvement, while promoting team wellbeing and an inclusive workplace culture
This role is a good fit if you have:
- Experience in quality engineering within civils, façade, cladding, architectural or fit-out works
- Strong understanding of nuclear-grade construction quality requirements; ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Experience with ITPs, QCPs, LTQRs and structured handover processes; working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract processes
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use digital QA tools
- CSCS PQP/AQP card
