About the Role
Foundation Learning is the 23/24 winner of the RCU Beacon Award for Support for Students and an outstanding area of the college that provides highly successful study programmes for learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). The post-holder will be motivated, enthusiastic and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners.
Responsibilities- Deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment of English and Maths to Department learners.
- Teach GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths within the Department.
- Collaborate with the cross‑college English and Maths Department to support progression, track milestones and ensure standardisation in line with Awarding Organisation requirements and College quality processes.
- Provide additional teaching within the Department as required.
