We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled CAD Technician to support our design and engineering teams. The successful candidate will create, modify, and optimise detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assemblies to support product development, manufacturing, and project delivery. This role requires precision, creativity, and collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities include:

Create 3D CAD models and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Solid Works, CATIA, Inventor.
Develop assemblies, layouts, and component designs that meet engineering specifications and standards.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality requirements.
Review and interpret technical specifications, sketches, and requirements to produce accurate designs.
Maintain organized CAD libraries, revision control, and documentation.
Support prototype development, testing, and design modifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal procedures, and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in CAD design and drafting for either manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or construction industries
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA, or relevant software.
Strong technical knowledge of materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
