Hybrid - 8 days/month in office (typically 2 days a week, Tue & Thu)

About the Role:

We looking for a dynamic and analytical Decision Scientist cum Consultant with a strong Product and Process management background and a knack for translating business problems with actionable business insights and data products. This role requires someone who can seamlessly combine technical expertise with exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence executive decision-making and create business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1.
Product Mindset

Create, maintain, groom backlog of product features and work with product owner(s) to prioritize them

Create and Own Roadmaps and ensure teams are aligned to the agreed commitments to business

Ensure key features are delivered on timely fashion and communicate with all stakeholders of the product

Have clear understand industry best practices applied in Product Management and data products and apply them to the products assigned to deliver and industrialize

Propose/Ideate use cases for the data products they own and work with business to estimate business value they can bring and prioritize them in partnership.

2.
Presentation and Storytelling:

Design and create compelling PowerPoint decks/Google Slides to present complex data-driven narratives.

Deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders and executive teams.

3.
Data Analysis and Insights:

Analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Develop predictive models and data-driven strategies to solve business challenges.

4.
Consultation and Business Engagement:

Act as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Present findings and recommendations with clarity, confidence, and executive presence.

5.
Collaboration:

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the alignment of analytical insights with business goals in mind.

Bridge the gap between technical analysis and business strategy.

6. Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and consulting.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Must-Have Skills:

Proven product & process experience, with a strong ability to work in business facing roles.

Expertise in PowerPoint/Google slides presentation design and deck creation

Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to effectively translate technical findings into actionable business insights.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling.

Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker etc..

Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform) and data warehousing solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

5-7 years of experience in a decision science, analytics, or consulting role.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
