Our nine-time NJ YMCA State Champion swim team has over 500 swimmers and a legacy of regional and national success, including swimmers who have achieved Olympic Trials and Junior National Team status. Recognized as a Silver Medal program by USA Swimming, the team competes year-round in YMCA and USA-sanctioned meets, with swimmers aged 6 to 18.

We seek highly qualified lead swim coaches who share our dedication to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Our goal is to enable swimmers to grow, achieve their goals, and reach their potential in a safe, supportive environment.

Hours: School year - evenings and weekends;
Summer - mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Coach a team of 250 swimmers aged 7-18 years.
• Motivate and develop individual team members.
• Assist in year-round competitions in YMCA and USA-sanctioned events.
• Communicate effectively with team members and parents.

Requirements:

• Personal competitive aquatics experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
• ARC Swim Coach Safety Training, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Lifeguard certification preferred.
