About the Position

Persistent is looking for Client Partner– Pharma and CRO who will be responsible for developing new business - driving business development and sales results in assigned region in the Pharma and CRO segment. Someone who has Prior experience in business development in the Healthcare Pharma and CRO segment. Understanding of Healthcare trends and the business impact for Providers. Ability to team in a complex matrix environment and a strong focus on Client Service excellence.

you’ll do
  • Passionate about the innovation economy, are excited about next gen technologies and the future that technology is shaping – Product Engineering, Cloud, Mobility, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Immersive technologies and Blockchain, among others.
  • Have Demonstrable experience of selling across healthcare Industry and a successful track record of opening new logos, manage and grow existing customers.
  • Have a good understanding of how software/technology in transforming industries and how “Software 4.0” companies like Persistent can help clients shape their future.
  • You are a big thinker and able to formulate solutions.
  • Able to communicate with and build relationships with senior client stakeholders (CXO, CXO-1, CXO-2 and CXO-3 levels)
  • Developing new business - driving business development and sales results in assigned region in the Healthcare segment.
  • Orchestrating the end-to-end sales cycle from lead identification through close of sale
  • Building and Managing a qualified and healthy Sales Pipeline and coverage
  • Prior track record of achieving quarterly & annual booking and revenue targets.
  • Experience in positioning and selling solutions across the Healthcare IT & Digital landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging the partner ecosystem to develop new business.
  • Partnering Analysts & Advisors. Participation in Provider relevant industry forums eg HIMSS.
What you’ll bring
  • Prior experience in Client Engagement in the Healthcare Pharma and CRO segment.
  • Working with the Pharma and CRO segment for the last 3 years at the minimum.
  • Strong client and partner relationships in the Healthcare Pharma and CRO segment.
  • Understanding of Healthcare trends and the business impact for Providers
  • Consultative selling approach, ability to clearly communicate the business value
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies.
  • Understanding of new age technologies and relevant use cases in the Healthcare space – Cloud, Mobility, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, RPA etc.
  • Ability to team in a complex matrix environment.
  • Strong focus on Client Service excellence
  • Ability to travel as needed.
