CNC Machinist

Eddie Kane Steel Products is a family‑owned business with over 25 years in the steel industry. We are seeking a full‑time CNC Machinist who shares our motto: "Treat others as you would have them treat you".

Proficient in CNC machining and disciplined in safety and documentation.

• Follow all safety guidelines and standards.
• Check all documentation before beginning a work order.
• Verify material size, dimensions, and quantity prior to commencing work.
• Set up machine tooling for machining/grinding parts.
• Record all information on work orders.
• Complete the Production Log daily.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Perform general lubrication maintenance on the work center.
• Maintain neat and accurate written documentation as required.
• Report any problems or quality concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Ability to read and decipher shop/machine drawings.
• CNC machining experience.
• Basic reading and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Dexterity and balance.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Capacity to lift, bend, stoop, squat, stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to run an overhead crane.
• Ability to become forklift certified.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior experience helpful.
