Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Injection Mold Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of injection molding machinery used in the production of plastic pouches. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on injection molds to ensure consistent production quality and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on injection molding machines and tooling
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and maintain injection molds and preform molds
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mold and tooling issues
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal mold performance
- Use shop tools such as grinders and mills as needed (a plus)
- Support production by minimizing equipment downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- 2+ years of hands-on injection molding maintenance experience
- Experience with injection mold disassembly and preform mold maintenance
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tooling issues
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience using shop equipment such as grinders and mills
- Experience in plastic packaging or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices
