Position SummaryThe opportunity creates a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors by operating boilers and related equipment; reading meters and gauges at specified intervals; opening and closing valves, adjusting controls, checking and monitoring operating systems for faults and maintenance needs; cleaning, maintaining, and lubricating power plant and auxiliary equipment; recording data and maintaining logs on temperatures, fuel consumption, and жұмыс metrics;
and performing related work as required.
Successful candidates will collaborate with colleagues to support the mission of the Department of Facilities Management in serving the diverse campus community. In this role you will help create and maintain a physical environment that enhances the entire Bridgewater State University community.
Tour of Duty:
Thursday – Monday 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
(Tuesday and Wednesday as days off)

Location: Campus Wide
Essential position. Initial assignment only, subject to change according to institutional needs.
This is a full‑time, 12‑month AFSCME unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement. Applicants must demonstrate employment eligibility in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
