Senior Consultant (Oracle)
Senior Consultant role at Oracle Financial Services Software, Inc. Provide consulting services by independently delivering technical and functional solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
Responsibilities- Operate independently with some assistance to provide high‑quality work products that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices.
- Perform standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
- Exercise independent judgment within defined policies and processes to deliver functional and technical solutions.
- Work at various customer locations throughout the U.S. (telecommute optional).
- Support the design, development, testing, deployment, and integration of enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, React, Angular, and related technologies.
- Participate in full‑stack development, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure provisioning (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).
- Adhere to software engineering best practices, version control, code reviews, automated testing, and security guidelines.
- Document architecture, specifications, and user guidance.
- Conduct client meetings, workshops, and knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior consultant or related occupation.
- Proficiency with Java, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, SOAP.
- Experience with front‑end technologies:
React
JS, Angular
JS, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery. - Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle Web Logic, and Glass Fish.
- Experience with version control systems, including SVN, Git, and Tortoise SVN.
- Knowledge of data integration tools (ODI, Data Sync, Data Loading) and databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo
DB). - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Git Hub Actions) and QA tools (Sonar Qube, Veracode).
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops practices (OCI, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
