Short and Long-term forecasting across the US Portfolio, with an emphasis on the Endocrinology portfolio

Overview

We are seeking a strategic, insights driven forecasting leader to own US commercial forecasting across the portfolio, with significant visibility to executive leadership. This role will build and validate patient based models, drive consensus across Commercial, Finance, Supply, and Global stakeholders, and translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Forecast Ownership & Governance:
    Lead U.S. forecasting processes across all horizons (monthly/LBE, annual budget, long range plan) with focus on the Endocrinology franchise.
  • Build and maintain dynamic, assumption-driven models supporting Commercial, Supply Planning, and Long‑Range Plan submissions; ensure version control and change management. Standardize templates/approaches, when possible.
  • Ensure strong forecasting governance, including version control, documentation, and clear change management rationale.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics to improve methodologies at regional and territory levels, where applicable.
  • Align assumptions with Marketing, Market Access, Business Unit leads, Finance, GM, and Global teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance on quarterly re forecasting, budget cycles, and long range plan development.
  • Proactively stress-test and update forecast assumptions using the latest market data, Competitive Intelligence (CI), market research, RWE, and payer advisory boards.
  • Clearly articulate monthly results vs. forecast, drivers, and implications, as well as risks and opportunities in forecasts.
  • Depending on experience and bandwidth, there may be opportunities to contribute to GTN forecasting as well, which requires detailed understanding of applicable inputs to GTN calculations (e.g. channel mix, government pricing, etc.).
  • Support Business Development evaluations and Global forecasting, as needed.
