Network & Monitoring Engineer

Network & Monitoring Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization’s network and infrastructure monitoring architecture. This role provides technical leadership across planning, design, and hands‑on execution to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performing network and monitoring platforms. The position partners closely with infrastructure teams, enterprise architecture, and stakeholders to support current operations and future growth.

• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term network and monitoring architecture strategies
• Design, deploy, and maintain network and monitoring platforms to meet performance, capacity, and SLA requirements
• Establish policies, procedures, documentation, and training for network and monitoring resources
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve flexibility, performance, and cost efficiency
• Conduct network performance testing and provide metrics, analysis, and reporting
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on LAN, WAN, virtual networks, wireless, and cloud environments
• Review network designs, procurement, and outsourcing plans for architectural and standards compliance
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate network products and services
• Support feasibility studies, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding network and monitoring activities

• Four‑year degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, and monitoring operations
• Strong expertise in network design and operations (LAN, WAN, wireless, virtual and cloud networks)
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise monitoring platforms
• Proven ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures
