Spring 2026 AAC Tutor for COMP 111, 152, and 206 (Non-Work Study)
Position DescriptionPosition Information: Tutors will work with a diverse group of students from introductory level computer science courses and support them one on one during weekday hours Monday-Friday. Through their work, tutors will actively advance a culture of accessibility and inclusivity throughout AAC and Bridgewater State University community.
The best tutor candidates should be highly dependable, have excellent communication skills, and have a commitment to anti-racism, equity and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications- Tutors must have obtained a grade of B or higher in the course(s) which they intend to tutor and have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- Tutors must receive supportive recommendations from a faculty member in the content area(s) to be tutored.
- Tutors must be available for a minimum of 4 hours/week during regular AAC operating hours (M 8-5pm, T 8-8pm, W 8-8pm, Th 8-5pm, F 8-4pm)
- All tutors are required to attend tutor training.
Physical demands are minimal and do not exceed standard office work.
