Job Description
The Market Access Intern is a hands‑on role that supports Value and Access, as well as Pricing and Contracting initiatives, within the Market Access group. The individual will support all initiatives around pricing strategy development, contract development, and language reviews for GPO, Hospital and IDN agreements. High level review and manipulation of data to analyze market landscapes. This role will require partnering with the Account teams and will work cross functionally with other internal departments such as Marketing, Finance, Customer Care and Legal.
Assist Market Access with various contracting administrative needs across the branded portfolio and other activities in support of Market Access Goals.

Key Responsibilities- Draft template contracts and contract notifications using pre‑approved templates.
- Support strategy and execution of contracts, performance analytics, in accordance with approved pricing strategies.
- Review and compare existing contract language with new documents.
- Review of executed documents, filing and upload into Access database for repository.
- Support analysis of significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, ensuring and conditions are consistent with corporate policies, goals and applicable laws and regulations.
- Support in direct negotiation with customers to resolve contract issues using independent judgment, creativity and decision‑making skills.
- Comply with contracting SOPs, cross‑functional consensus and approval governance process.
- Complete various ad hoc projects to include proper use of AI and AI‑generated reports or presentations.
- Support and participate in routine internal and external audits by pulling requested documents and providing to internal and external auditors.
Minimum Requirements
- Working on bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker – able to identify, develop, and recommend process improvements.
- Ability to analyze and create custom reports.
- Competent with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Organized and self‑sufficient.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team and flexible with changing business / new challenges.
- Internal Customers:
Senior Management, Legal, Account Management (managed care and trade), Contract Administration, Customer Care, Brand Teams, Finance, Field Sales, and Marketing.
Hybrid role; 3 days/week onsite.
The expected base pay range for this position is $22K - $28K. The offered rate of pay will vary according to the candidate's current degree program and level of study.
