Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at A & A Metro Transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while supporting our commitment to quality service.

• Invoice Processing: Receive, obtain appropriate approvals, and enter vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy.
• Payment Execution: Prepare and process payments and ensure timely posting of transactions.
• Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records, including W‑9s, terms, and contact information. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve statement discrepancies promptly.
• Payroll Back up: Process weekly payroll as needed.

• 3-5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience (experience in the Transportation field is a plus).
• Knowledge of Paycom Payroll System or similar systems.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Organizational Skills.
• Accounting principles knowledge.
• Knowledge of Quick Books Desktop.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
