Noscoeret looking for a Quality Specialist to work second shift at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee‑owner, you will support site operations teams to maintain products in conformance with customer specifications and our Quality System procedural requirements, providing routine, direct support to the manufacturing floor and applying Lean principles of Leader Standard Work.
In This Role- Support the achievement of annual quality performance metrics for Formal Complaints, Total Complaints and Customer Rejection Cost by engaging in GEMBA activities on the manufacturing floor.
- Take ownership for the release of manufactured product through final QA/QC release activities, batch review, issuance of customer documentation, and ERP transactional release of inventory.
- Generate all customer‑facing documentation and color standards, and maintain the color‑standard library.
- Facilitate or oversee the root‑cause/corrective-action investigation process for internal, external, and supplier non‑conformances in compliance with Quality System procedures, drafting customer responses as required.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions stemming from Quality System programs (NCR, SCAR, CAPAR, internal audits, customer audits, supplier Dois, PQM, etc.) and support a high level of compliance to the QMS.
- Support 2–3 measurable process‑improvement projects annually.
- High‑school graduate required; further education or degree preferred or equivalent industry exposure and experience. Technical quality system and manufacturing experience, especially in printing/packaging, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence employees, engaging team members for buy‑in, fostering open dialogue, and maintaining professionalism with respect and high expectations.
- Physical requirements:
ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; lift 15 lb routinely and up to 40 lb occasionally; work at a computer for extended periods; concentrate for long periods; speaking, hearing, and vision essential to job functions.
