Machine Operator; Thermoforming

Machine Operator (Thermoforming) – Pactiv Evergreen Inc., Bridgeview, IL

• Pay range: $24.11 to $26.33 per hour (paid weekly) with an additional $1 per hour shift differential.
• Night shift availability: 7 PM – 7 AM.

• Safely and efficiently operate thermoforming and extrusion equipment to produce quality products.
• Troubleshoot line issues with minimal assistance.
• Maintain run efficiencies for the line and product type.
• Ensure product quality and complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Assist in production start‑ups and shutdowns.
• Train future technicians in technical duties and best practices.
• Communicate daily with shift management to identify problem areas and devise action plans.
• Follow all company rules, policies, safety rules, and regulations.
• Maintain safe, clean, and tidy housekeeping in assigned areas.

• Minimum 2+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Hands‑on Thermoforming experience; plastics extrusion preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude essential.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime and off‑shifts as needed.
