The Preparation Technician role is about more than maintaining vehicles and equipment. They ensure safety and efficiency of our operations through thorough inspections, routine maintenance, and quick resolution of technical issues. This supports fleet readiness, reliability, and contributes to operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing safety and effectiveness.

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of accessorial equipment to ensure safety.
• Perform inbound inspections of accessorial equipment (chains, binders, straps, and tarps) and detail tractors for new drivers.
• Detail tractors to prepare them for new drivers.
• Utilize a tablet for work assignments and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of preparation tasks.
• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations related to vehicle maintenance and operation, ensuring highest standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
