Position: Senior Community Cook

-Time Weekend Availability Needed

Join Our Team!
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Community Cook to join our dining services team. In this role, you will work closely with the Dining Services Director to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

• Prepare meals according to menus, resident needs, and dietary regulations.
• Follow all federal, state, and local food preparation and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Work collaboratively with the Dining Services Director and team members to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

• Previous cooking experience, preferably in Independent, Assisted, or Supportive Living communities.
• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of required state training.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred.
• Compassion for and a genuine desire to serve seniors.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass a background check.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
