Electro Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electro‑mechanical systems and assemblies
• Support creation and modification of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure proper system integration
• Participate in prototype builds, system assembly, and functional testing
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical and electrical issues
• Support validation testing and documentation of results
• Assist with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) efforts
• Prepare engineering documentation including test procedures, reports, and technical specifications
• Support product improvements, cost reduction efforts, and reliability initiatives
• Follow applicable safety standards and engineering best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Electro‑Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Internship, co‑op, or hands‑on project experience preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, motors, sensors, and control systems
• Familiarity with mechanical components such as gears, bearings, actuators, and structural assemblies
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred
