Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Bookkeeper (~20 hours/week) to join our team in Bridgeview, Illinois. This Contract to permanent position provides an opportunity to contribute to financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts. Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.

- Utilize Quick Books Online to manage and track day-to-day accounting processes.

- Generate detailed financial reports and summaries as required.

- Organize and manage office files and records to ensure easy access and retrieval.

- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies to support daily operations.

- Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office functionality.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.

- Monitor and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel to track financial data effectively.

The salary range for this position is $26/hr to $29/hr Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements - Proficiency in bookkeeping practices and financial record management.

- Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.

- Hands-on experience with Quick Books Online for accounting tasks.

- Competency in using Microsoft Excel for organizing and analyzing data.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage office files and supplies.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
