Position Summary:

To provide assessments, counseling using TF-CBT and psycho-educational services to children, parents and families who have witnessed and/or experienced domestic violence in their home. Services include individual and family counseling.

Location: Cumberland County

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete training in TF-CBT
• Assessment of clients
• Administration and scoring of standardized assessment tools.
• Preparation of diagnostic histories involving the collection, analysis, and recording of significant social and personal factors
• Provide clinical services using the modalities of TF-CBT individual and family counseling and psycho-education
• Complete documentation and other reporting requirements on a timely basis
• Perform specialized activities and functions specific to program. See Program-Specific Responsibilities
• Participates in agency collaboration team meetings weekly for 2 hours
• Provide Parent/Child assessments using tools as written within the current Grant
• Provide Parent and Family Counseling sessions using TF-CBT.
• Participate in weekly Case Review Meetings and/or Individual Supervision
• Participate in the development and planning of sessions
• Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MSW, or MA in a related human services field
• Licensed (MFT, LCSW, LPC) preferred or license eligible.
• Knowledge in the area of domestic violence
• Experience working with children and families
• Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred
• Clearly communicate ideas in both written and verbal form
