Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for inpatient populations.

* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.

* Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including monitoring for efficacy and side effects.

* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.

* Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

* Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.

* Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey, CDS, and DEA.

* Board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP-BC) required.

* Previous inpatient psychiatric care experience preferred.

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

* Flexibility to work on a part-time or per diem basis with varying shifts.

Schedule:

* Part-time or per diem position with flexible scheduling based on availability.

* Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts may be required.
