Program Manager

Position Overview

As a Program Manager at Devereux, you will oversee the group home in Bridgeton, NJ and work with dedicated professionals to help individuals in need. The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director.

Salary: $58,000 – $67,000.

Location:

Bridgeton, NJ.

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social, and other developmental plans for residents.
• Ensure internal and external facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed community member.
• Hire, train, manage staff performance, attendance, payroll accuracy, and training compliance.
• Supervise shift coverage within the program.
• Document and implement programs to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings.
• Manage shopping for food, clothing, and household items.
• Schedule and transport residents to doctor appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

• High School Diploma/GED required;
  Bachelor’s in related field preferred.
• Valid non‑provisional driver’s license.
• 10 days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathy and a team approach to care for residents.
