Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician Apprentice. Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers and drivers to keep vehicles in top condition. No professional experience? No problem—we will teach you!

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Air system diagnostics and repairs
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
• Parts lookup and acquisition

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters; operate in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Note:

This apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined with no professional experience. We will teach you.
