We are looking for a Field Technician for our Bridgeport, WV office. If you are a highly motivated team player that thrives in a fast-paced work environment and looks at tasks with a “can-do” attitude, then check out the job duties below.
In This Role, You Will Be Asked To- Work in all outdoor weather conditions year-round and in residential, commercial, and industrial areas
- Endure walking numerous miles a day, navigating on foot or in a vehicle, and balancing objects which may weigh up to 20 pounds in congested and/or complex terrain
- Communicate with property owners and other stakeholders
- Utilize technology tools for data collection and a telescopic fiberglass measurement stick to accurately measure clearances on utility poles
- Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly reports
- Be willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with Katapult Pro is highly desired
- Knowledge of pole design including NESC requirements and general safety practices is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of outdoor work-related experience
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis
