Position: OR Nurse (RN) - Bridgeport, West Virginia

This contract position in Bridgeport, WV, spans 13 weeks, providing a chance to enhance clinical skills across general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and cataract procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate and assist with Olympus Endoscopy and Stryker laparoscopy equipment.
• Collaborate with orthopedic partners using Zimmer and Arthrex technology.
• Utilize Cerner as the electronic medical records system for documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing support to PACU as needed.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current RN license with verified operating room experience.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule and commit to on-call duties.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple surgical specialties.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
• On-call shifts from 3 PM to 7 AM weekdays and starting Friday afternoon through Monday morning on weekends.
