• The successful candidate will practice in Hematology/Oncology.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Travel may be required: depending on operational needs, the candidate may be assigned to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania and will fulfill duties at those sites as needed.

• Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

B. Highland Cancer Center at UHC is recognized by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Community Comprehensive Cancer Program. The center provides the continuum of cancer-related services from prevention/early detection screening and education to surgery, medical and radiation oncology, inpatient and outpatient therapies, home care and hospice services. UHC’s cancer navigator program is the largest in North Central West Virginia, providing comprehensive and compassionate guidance to patients and their families throughout their cancer care and survivorship.
