** Electric Shop Supervisors
** primary responsibility is to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the production team in the manufacturing of electric pumps. * CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
** To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.* ### Team Supervision:
Lead and manage a team of production technicians and operators. Assign tasks, provide direction, and monitor their performance to ensure productivity and efficiency.* ### Production Coordination:
Collaborate with the production planning department to schedule and prioritize the manufacturing process, ensuring timely completion of orders and on-time delivery.* ### Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework, striving for continuous improvement.* ### Safety Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety in the production area. Train and educate team members on safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety guidelines and regulations.* ### Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains. Propose and implement improvements to enhance production output, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.* ### Training and Development:
Assess the skill levels of team members and identify training needs. Provide training and mentorship to enhance the team's capabilities and ensure a well-trained workforce.* ### Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and components required for production. Coordinate with the supply chain team to maintain an adequate supply without excess inventory.* ### Troubleshooting:
Address production issues and challenges promptly. Work with the maintenance team to resolve equipment breakdowns and technical problems to minimize downtime.* ### Reporting:
Keep accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and efficiency. Generate regular reports for management to track progress and identify areas of improvement.* ### Continuous Improvement:
Participate in production meetings and collaborate with other departments to identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement in production processes.### ### ###
** QUALIFICATIONS**:* ###
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional relevant certifications or vocational training may be preferred.* ### Knowledge:
Proven experience in manufacturing and production processes, with specific knowledge of electric pump production being advantageous. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and components is desirable.* ### Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the production team effectively.* ### Organizational
