IT and Software Operations Intern

Safety Marking, LLC (“SMC”) is a fast-paced, growing company looking for a versatile IT & Software Operations Intern. This role is designed for the "Computer Science Generalist". Someone who wants to be involved in every technical aspect of a modern business, from hardware troubleshooting to data visualization.

This is a full-time OR part-time in-person position.

• Must be able to work within the core office hours 6-6PM

Diagnose and resolve Windows OS errors and hardware connectivity issues. Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for office printer environments and peripheral devices.

Utilize SQL to query internal databases, clean data sets, and assist with basic database management tasks.

This internship is a mentorship‑heavy role. By the end of your term, you will have gained professional experience in:

• IT Management: Learning how to scale and manage tech assets in a high‑growth corporate environment.
• Data Visualization: Turning raw SQL data into actionable dashboards and business intelligence.
• Dev Ops Foundations: Understanding the intersection of software development and IT infrastructure operations in azure.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows‑based environments.
• The ability to diagnose physical hardware issues (Printers/Networking).
• A "figure‑it‑out" mindset with a passion for all aspects of Computer Science.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI or Power Automate).
• Basic exposure to Azure cloud services.
