With oversight from The Trauma Medical Director, the Trauma Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day administration of the Trauma Program, which includes the trauma registry, trauma program performance improvement, trauma program education, and trauma research.

Responsibilities- Clinical Management
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the trauma staff by displaying excellence in trauma nursing.
- Organizational Leadership
- Promotes the organization to all customers by interpreting and communicating the mission and values of Bridgeport Hospital/YNHHS and acting as a loyal, supportive and informed spokesperson for the program, division and hospital.
- Customer Service
- Ensures that all staff members are held accountable for adhering to customer relations standards, reflecting excellence for internal and external customers.
- Outcomes Management
- Ensure that desired clinical outcomes are achieved through cost effective and efficient processes.
Education:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required. Master’s Degree in healthcare related field preferred.
Experience:
Five years clinical practice experience required. Two years trauma experience required. One to two years of demonstrated leadership, supervisory, management or program management experience required.
Licensure:
Current CT State RN license and/or eligibility for CT state RN licensure required.
