• As a valued member of our team, you will:
  • Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Work in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols, and clinical pathways, and may provide autonomous team‑based care.
  • Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review/orders diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, formulate and manage patient treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on care and available resources, including admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans.
  • Provide psychosocial support to patients, their family members, and significant others in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

• Education
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Experience
  • Emergency Department experience preferred.
  • Motivated new graduates with appropriate exposure and preparation considered.
  • Active, unrestricted CT medical license or in process of obtaining.
  • ACLS/BLS (as required) certification.
  • DEA license.
