Structured Finance Analyst / Sr. Analyst / Associate Summary
Vallum Associates are partnered with a leading C&I developer, owner, and operator is seeking a Structured Finance Analyst (open to Sr. Analyst/Associate level as well) to join its Investment & Structured Finance team. This organization develops, owns, and operates distributed solar, battery storage, and EV charging assets across the U.S., with a large and growing operating portfolio supported by institutional capital partners.
The RoleThis position will support the structuring, execution, and management of complex financing transactions to fund renewable energy investments. The role offers exposure to tax equity, debt, and securitized financing in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Structure and execute tax equity and debt financings
- Support negotiation and execution of major transaction documents
- Coordinate due diligence, consultants, legal teams, and lenders to close financings
- Build and maintain financial models for structured finance transactions
- Interface with investors and lenders throughout deal execution and portfolio management
- Partner cross‑functionally with development, construction, legal, and operations teams
- Monitor financial performance and reporting of operating assets
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or infrastructure investing
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience with complex financing structures preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
