CFO​/Controller - Hands-On, Entrepreneurial Finance Leader, B2B Distribution

, a dynamic and profitable $12M commercial distributor specializing in high-performance door hardware solutions with robust global import partnerships. We're a small team (~25 people) with a big mission in the high-end North American design and construction sector.

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Controller/CFO to own all financial operations. This role requires an entrepreneurial finance executive experienced in small-to-mid-cap (SMC) companies who can drive both strategic growth and operational rigor. Key responsibilities include international import costing, working capital management, and leading processes utilizing Acumatica ERP.

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Partner with CEO on financial modeling, forecasting, and growth strategy for a global distribution model.
• International Sourcing: Direct management of landed cost calculations, inventory controls, and cash flow tied to global imports.
• Systems & Automation: Champion and lead all integration of Acumatica ERP for reporting, system efficiency, and process automation.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to GAAP standards, manage internal controls, and lead all audit preparation activities.
• Leadership: Mentor a lean accounting team and enforce financial accountability across all departments.

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with proven success in a distribution, manufacturing, or B2B supply chain environment

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
  CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
• Technical Must-Have:
  Hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP or a similar sophisticated accounting system is essential.
• Global Acumen: Deep knowledge of international sourcing, freight, and landed cost analysis.
