Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pre-K Daycare Teacher to join our team at Little Rainbow Daycare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on teaching preschool-aged children. The Experienced Pre-K Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where children can develop essential academic, social, and emotional skills.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children in our daycare program.
- Plan and lead engaging and interactive lessons that support children s cognitive, language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and daycare staff, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of children s progress and development, using observations and documentation to inform instructional planning and individualized support.
- Implement positive behavior management strategies and teach children conflict resolution and social skills.
- Plan and supervise educational and enrichment activities, including field trips, special events, and guest speakers.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate learning across subject areas and provide continuity in children s educational experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Bachelor s degree in early childhood education or a related field (required).
- Minimum of [insert number] years of experience working as a preschool or Pre-K teacher in a licensed daycare or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong understanding of early literacy, numeracy, and other foundational academic skills.

- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
