This is a Grant Funded position $350 per day

Manage and defuse crisis situations, reinforce appropriate behaviors and redirect negative behaviors, works one-on-one with students to affect behavior changes, implements behavioral programs and provides interventions to assist students in making positive and appropriate decisions.

• Train and coach staff on building and clarifying school-wide expectations.
• Provide support on strategies to create a positive school climate.
• Provide support using restorative practices, Ruler, PBIS and SEL practices.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community to improve the overall school climate.
• Assist students with making positive choices.
• Collaborate with administration on reinforcing positive behavior.
• Contribute to the social emotional goals of the school.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience working in an educational environment.
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
