Near Bridgeport, CT We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Internal Medicine Physician to take on the role of Medical Resident Clinic Director at a leading community teaching hospital in Connecticut. This position offers a unique opportunity to supervise and guide clinical care within the Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic, fostering a rich environment of learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the administration and management of the outpatient clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Precept and train medical trainees, including residents and medical students, to cultivate their clinical skills and knowledge. Collaborate with specialists and clinical faculty to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary learning experience. Engage in the development of curriculum and academic programs, contributing to the advancement of the residency program.

Participate in faculty development and promote the well-being of staff through leadership and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with a strong interest in academic medicine and resident teaching. Eligibility for an academic appointment at the University of Connecticut, at the assistant professor level or higher. Demonstrated ability to innovate and collaborate within a healthcare setting.
