Immediate Care Clinician – Community Health

Join Optimus Health Care as an Immediate Care Clinician in our Bridgeport clinic. We provide high‑quality, patient‑centered primary care and offer competitive compensation plus a sign‑on/retention bonus up to $25,000.

• Provide primary care to patients on scheduled and walk‑in basis, including pre‑operative and post‑hospital follow‑ups, physical exams (up to four per day, 30 minutes each), urgent care, and telehealth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and lead patient care planning.
• Participate in regular Immediate Care team meetings, develop standing orders, and streamline clinical processes.

• MD, DO, PA, or NP with medical school accreditation (BA/BS, MS preferred).
• Board certified or preference for internal medicine, family practice, or emergency medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in patient care (MD/DO, PA, NP).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with diverse patients.
• Knowledge of clinical operations, modern general medicine, and public health principles.
• Excellent ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Bi‑lingual Spanish preferred.
• Current unrestricted Connecticut medical license & active DEA & controlled substance registration.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
