Overview
2 hours per week – Term Time.
An exciting opportunity has been created within Youth Support to provide open access support to young people of Bridgend.
- Manage the youth centre within Bridgend County.
- Lead a team of youth workers and deliver a needs-led provision in line with the five aims identified in the Youth Work Strategy for Wales.
- Organise work across 2 to 4 evenings per week and occasional weekends as required.
- Operate in a variety of settings, including street-based services, according to service needs.
- Ensure protection of children, young people, or adults at risk as a core responsibility of all council employees.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Proficiency in Welsh for greeting customers.
- Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred list clearance.
- Willingness to work weekends.
