Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

RSW are recruiting a number of Carpenters to construct modular buildings using wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials using hand tools and power tools according to specifications and drawings.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
• Build frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and door frames
• Install fixtures such as windows, doors, walls
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures on site
• Collaborate with other labourers as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
• Good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Hands‑on experience with tools of the trade
• Physical strength and stamina
• Problem‑solving skills
• Teamwork and communication
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions

• May require lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods
• Use of protective equipment may be required (hard hat, safety boots, gloves, etc.)

These positions are Temp to Perm.

• Monday-Thursday 06:15-16:30
• Overtime offered Friday and Saturday
• Pay Grade Increases
