Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 (depending on experience)
A rapidly growing, modern law firm in Wales is seeking a motivated Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within a forward thinking practice known for delivering high quality, client focused legal services.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing a varied and fast paced caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Sales and purchases (freehold, leasehold, and unregistered)
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Conducting due diligence, including title checks, searches, and reviewing legal documentation
- Drafting contracts, deeds, and associated conveyancing documents
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties
- Providing clear legal advice on property law and client obligations
- Working effectively with a Case Management System
- Managing capacity levels and achieving monthly targets
- Supervising and supporting a small team of legal assistants
- Ensuring compliance with SRA/CLC regulatory requirements and Land Registry rules
- Maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent client service
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with:
- Strong experience in residential conveyancing
- Knowledge of freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build, shared ownership, and remortgage transactions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
- Confidence in making independent decisions
Thorough understanding of SRA/CLC regulatory frameworks and Land Registry processes - High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and support junior team members
