Overview
We re looking for passionate and reliable individuals to join our domestic team who maintain a clean and safe environment for our valued tenants in our EXTRA CARE SERVICE in Bridgend. As a HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT you will play a key role in the team, offering a genuine smile and great impression to all our residents and visitors. This is a part time, 18 hour, 6 month, fixed term position.

Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe environment across the building, including all rooms and shared spaces.
- Assist with day-to-day housekeeping duties to support tenants and visitors, providing a friendly and welcoming service.
- Store and use cleaning materials in line with the Home s COSHH policy, using only approved cleaning products for each task.
- Great communicator — work closely with the Service Manager and tenants; be friendly and approachable.
- Team player — positive, supportive, and inclusive attitude towards colleagues and tenants.
- Attention to detail — maintain standards and safety in cleaning practices.
- Organisational skills — capable of cleaning and maintaining all rooms and spaces efficiently.
- Independent & customer-focused — ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks while providing high-quality service.

Ty Ynysawdre is an Extra Care scheme with 25 self-contained apartments for over 65s with care or support needs, blending independent living with on-site support.
There are also 15 residential beds.
- Annual salary of £24,655 (FTE)
