The business supply their products worldwide with global reputable brand names and are currently going through A huge growth period which would make it an excellent time to be a part of this company.

Role & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Production to ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacture.
Provide technical expertise across the business, supporting departments such as Sales, Service, and Production.
Driving design + development, analysing (risk, failure mode, tolerance) and other project tasks.
Design and develop products to meet customer specification and advise customers on the best design solutions
Taking the product from conception to completion, leading design reviews whilst liaising closely with customers and suppliers.
Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge,

Skills & Experience:

Problem solving techniques (i.e. FMEA / DFMEA / Risk Analysis)
Experience working as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Experience using 3D modelling - Solidworks / Auto Desk Inventor
Solid Mechanical Engineering background.
Previous experience working with a range of Materials such as Metals, Steel, Plastics etc.
Ability to analyse product performance.
