Viridis Talent is exclusively representing a leading international renewable energy manufacturer as they expand their UK Energy Storage Systems (ESS) operations.

Our client is a well‑established global player in solar PV and energy storage technology, with a strong track record of innovation, product development, and market leadership across multiple continents. As part of their UK growth strategy, they are seeking a proactive and technically strong ESS Product Service Engineer to support nationwide deployment and aftersales operations.

This is a high‑impact role combining hands‑on technical oversight, subcontractor network development, and service infrastructure setup.

You will take ownership of ESS installation management, technical service delivery, and the development of the company's UK service capability.

• Oversee and deliver agreed monthly volumes of residential ESS installations across the UK
• Ensure full compliance with UK electrical standards and quality control procedures

• Identify, onboard and manage regional subcontractor partners
• Deliver technical training and conduct performance assessments

• Support the establishment of the UK service structure
• Secure required certifications and ensure eligibility for relevant government rebate schemes

• Coordinate new ESS product trials in collaboration with global R&D teams
• Collect field data and customer feedback to support product improvement

• Establish and manage structured warranty processes
• Oversee fault diagnosis and technical issue resolution

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or recognised electrical installation/testing qualification

• Minimum 3 years' experience in ESS project management or technical service
• Strong background in subcontractor coordination and warranty handling

• Strong understanding of UK electrical standards
• Experience with PV and residential ESS installations
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics

• Willingness to travel nationally
• Hands‑on, solutions‑focused mindset
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
