Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients through ongoing assessments and therapeutic nursing interventions.
Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

• Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework.

• Manage care of patients and advocate for evidence-based practice care standards.

• Document care based on standards of care and practice.

• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3+ years of Mother Baby experience required.

• Must have BSN, NRP, ACLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.

• Must be certified as an RN with a NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

• BLS certification must be from AHA.

• NCC certification preferred.
