- Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Computer literate with proficiency in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
- Valid state license as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (where required)
Provide Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Deliver quality care through screening and evaluation, developing treatment and discharge plans, and handling case management responsibilities. Represent Reliant’s commitment to quality and service with professional conduct and rapport with clients and facilities. Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing SLP therapy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Optimize communication, cognitive‑linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of patients through speech therapy.
- Build and maintain a strong SLP therapy program.
- Enhance clinical expertise and professional management skills through collaboration, self‑study, and continuing education.
- Maintain valid state license and stay informed about professional and healthcare environment issues.
- Understand payment models, billing, and treatment guidelines, ensuring clinically appropriate delivery of care.
- Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
- Communicate effectively in English across all written and verbal documentation.
