Pre‑K Educational Technician I — Special Education
Pay: 2025‑2026 rate of pay ranges from $18.52 to $22.29 per hour.
Benefits: 95% employer paid single health insurance coverage (other plans at 97% and 100%) and 100% employer paid single dental insurance coverage.
- Certified as an Ed Tech I and current MDOE CHRC Approval
- Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
- Experience working with children in a classroom – small and large group settings
- Ability to support and provide personal care for young children and students with disabilities
- Ability to lift and transfer students (including those with restricted mobility)
- Ability to learn and implement Safety Care crisis intervention and trauma informed practices
- Ability to follow and implement IEP directives, consistent routines, schedules, behavior and health plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A calm, patient, positive, and professional demeanor
- A collaborative, flexible, and supportive team member
